American in Budapest looking to travel around!

Hey everyone,
I'm new here so I'm not sure how this works but I'm an American who has been teaching English in Budapest for 5 months and I want to travel now that it's getting warmer. I want to visit Istanbul sometime soon (just a quick week trip or so) and have a flexible schedule. My friends aren't able to come. Anyone nearby and interested? Let me know and we can chat/start planning!
